Storyboard

Filming a movie or a commercial requires a lot of people working together. Everyone is contributing a small part in a bigger project. It’s essential that every team member is on the same page and that everyone has the same vision.

Storyboards help provide that by showing how the film should look in entirety, shot by shot. When everyone has a clear picture of what they’re aiming for, it becomes easier to communicate and work together.

Concept Art

When making a video game, comic book or a movie, it’s really important that the world you create looks believable and cohesive. Every character, every building, every object should tell a story about itself and it’s position in the overarching world.

Great concept art help 3D artist make unique and alive models that are going to help tell a great story.

Illustration

They say “Don’t judge a book by its cover” – and that’s completely false. There are about 130 million books in the world. There’s no way anyone will read them all, so we have to look at their cover and determine which book is worth our time.

That’s how your readers think, they need to see eye-catching cover to buy your book. That’s why you need high quality illustration on your book cover.

Frequently Asked Question

Here are some of the frequently asked questions

That depends on a project. If it’s a storyboard for a 1 minute commercial it can be completed in a few days. But if it’s a fully colored and detailed long-form comic book – it can take up to a year to finish.

If you’re in a hurry, I will try to finish the project as soon as possible and meet the deadline, as long as it doesn’t sacrifice the quality.

If you want to know more precisely how long would it take to complete your specific project, message me here with the details and I’ll let you know.

As much as possible.

If you want a storyboard, I’d need you to provide me with a script or a screenplay for your film. Also any other useful information, like pictures of locations you plan to film on will be helpful.

If you’re looking for concept art, I’d need written descriptions for your characters and locations, as well as all the images that are similar to your idea (image of a similar character from the internet that you like).

For illustration projects I’d need a detailed description of what kind of image are you imagining, as well as the pictures that inspire you.

I follow the same process for almost any project. It’s RESEARCH – SKETCH – DEVELOP – DELIVER.

In research phase I do all the research necessary about the project – that includes studying a specific art style you want and reading all the material you send me (scripts, screenplays, documents…)

Sketch phase is where I draw simple sketches just to get the main idea across. This is where big changes can be made easily. So if you don’t like how elements are positioned on a drawing – I can fix it.

After you approve the initial sketch, we move to the develop stage. This is were we move from a rough sketch to a detailed drawing. I will be sending you work in progress images so you can request any changes if necessary, I will make all the revisions you ask for and send you a complete drawing.

Once that is done, we move to delivery phase. That’s when I do the coloring (if necessary) and all the finishing touches. And after your approval I’m going to send you all the deliverables – high resolution files that you need (pdf, jpg, png, psd…)

The RESEARCH – SKETCH – DEVELOP – DELIVER is the best approach I landed on over the years. It allows you to be part of the image creation process, requesting any changes necessary in every step along the way, so we can make the exact image you envisioned.

That is highly dependent on what kind of project is in question and how many revisions you want. You can contact me and we can talk about it in more detail.

Just send me your project brief and any further questions you might have on this link.
